Steve Clark, MPT, MTC
Steve was raised in the state of Iowa. He moved to Iowa City in 1992, attending the University of Iowa for both his undergraduate and graduate school training. Steve has been a licensed physical therapist, practicing in the Iowa City area for fifteen years, focusing on outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. He uses an eclectic approach to patient care, utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and biomechanics/motor control training with his patients.
Steve resides in North Liberty with his wife and two children.

Feryl York, BS, PTA
Feryl is a native of Illinois where she earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from Western Illinois University in 1999. WIU is also where she met her husband Ryan and joined him in his home state of Iowa in 2000. In 2003, she earned her A.A.S. in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Kirkwood Community College and joined Kirkwood's adjunct faculty team in 2006. Feryl has been practicing in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area where her clinical experience includes out-patient orthopedic physical therapy, aquatic therapy and marketing for business growth/development. She remains active in the health and fitness community by educating The Corridor as KCRG's Fitness Expert along with teaching a variety of group exercise classes at the M.A.C. in Cedar Rapids.
The York's enjoy spending time with their Chihuahua, Zipp. They enjoy an active lifestyle where the love for endurance sports began while celebrating their first anniversary by completing their first triathlon. They would never have guessed countless marathons and triathlons would take them through the US!
Feryl was honored to secure the title of Mrs. Iowa International 2010 and Mrs. Iowa America 2013. Throughout her pageant career, Feryl's primary focus is philanthropy for cancer research. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is at the forefront of her efforts as her mother, grandmother and two uncles have battled blood cancers.

Iowa City Physical Therapy is located inside Core Fitness on Mormon Trek Blvd in Iowa City. The clinic is unique in that we have private space for physical therapy treatments, but also access to the entire fitness center, including weights, machines, cardio equipment and an indoor pool. Patients can choose whether they utilize any of the equipment with their physical therapy treatment.
